Icelandair, the national carrier of Iceland, operates a fleet of Boeing 757-200s and 757-300s on flights from its hub at Keflavik International Airport to various destinations in Europe and the United States. Many passengers travel between Europe and the US while making a stopover in Iceland. The airline's regional subsidiary Flugfelag Islands, Air Iceland, operates a fleet of propeller aircraft including the Fokker 50 and Sw. Metro on flights to many domestic destinations in Iceland as well as to Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
