Smooth-On Dragon Skin 30 is a High-Performance, 2-component Translucent Platinum Cure Liquid Silicone Rubber Compound. Its excellent physical properties allow it to cure very strong and very “stretchy,” making it the ideal silicone mix for skin effects, special effects, movie effects, and production applications. It’s also lab-tested certified skin-safe and reliable for creating prosthetics and cushioning applications. Dragon Skin 30 can be easily colored with Silc Pig pigments and/or painted with Psycho Paint when cured. Easy to use, Dragon Skin silicones are mixed 1A:1B by weight or volume, offer a 45-minute pot life/working time, and cure to a solid rubber in 16 hours. Dragon Skin 30 liquid rubber can be thinned with Silicone Thinner or thickened with THI-VEX. Dragon Skin liquid rubbers cure at room temperature (73°F/23°C) with negligible shrinkage. Vacuum degassing is recommended to minimize air bubbles in cured rubber. Because no two applications are quite the same, a small test application to determine suitability for your project is recommended if performance of this material is in question. Refer to technical bulletin for more information available at Smooth-On website. IMPORTANT: Wear safety glasses, long sleeves, and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk. Use only in a well-ventilated area. Store and use materials in a warm environment (73°F/23°C). CAUTION: In case of eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention. For skin contact, wash with soap and water. Keep Out Of Reach Of Children.
