This Atlas Code 83 Customline Curved Turnout features nickel silver rail and brown plastic ties that match other Atlas Code 83 track. This turnout can be configured as a remote or manual switch with your choice of switching machine (sold separately). The turnout also features die-cast points and an insulated die-cast metal frog with a power contact. You can use this power contact option to energize the frog and prevent power loss when a locomotive is passing. The outside radius of the Code 83 curve is 30" and the inside radius is 22". Atlas HO Code 83 track is the choice of discriminating modelers of all skill levels and has become the new standard in model railroading. With prototypically fine brown ties and nickel silver rail, it not only looks realistic, it is incredibly reliable. A complete line is available, including switches, crossovers, straight and radius pieces, allowing you to create any of a number of interesting and exciting layouts, including all of the layouts in our popular HO Layout Instruction Books!
