- Firmapress by LFA Tablet Presses is an all-in-one tablet binding agent made to simplify and optimize tablet production. This directly compressible, co-processed excipient makes tablet development more cost-effective by combining four essential ingredients, each serving a specific purpose in your formulation. Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC 102) ensures strong binding while maintaining excellent flowability, creating uniform and consistent tablets. Silicon Dioxide functions as an anti-caking agent and glidant that repels moisture and reduces interparticle friction that can cause powder clumping. This helps to create a consistent powder flow for both gravity-based and force feeder filling systems. Magnesium Stearate prevents sticking to your machinery, protecting punch tips and die cavity walls. Dicalcium Phosphate (DCP) is a coarse-grade excipient with compaction properties, ensuring that fine ingredients are shaped and solidified with ease. Aside from Di-calcium phosphate, which should not be used with acidic active ingredients, the ingredients in Firmapress are all inert. Firmapress takes the guesswork out of formulating tablet formulations, saving you time and effort while delivering reliable results. All ingredients are pharmaceutical-grade. Made in the USA at LFA Machines' ISO certified facilities, LFA Firmapress is halal, kosher, and third-party inspected for quality and food safety.
