- Delta Plus Onyx Dual Shell Safety Helmet with Retractable Visor. This high quality hard hat not only meets the users safety requirements but surpasses them. The safety helmet is designed for use in many industrial applications such as within oil and gas refineries, ARC welding, electrical work, heavy industrial applications and more. The helmet is constructed with a double ABS shell for improved robustness and resistance, providing better protection. Other key features of the helmet are its lateral reflectivity, for improved low light and night time visibility, an ergonomic rotor adjustment system that allows single handed adjustments to the helmets size and fit, with or without gloves, and headband clips, which allow suitable positioning and hold for an elasticated band headlamp. The retractable visor provides a combined and compact solution. The visor is situated at a comfortable distance away from the wearers face allowing good ventilation, prevents fogging and also allows the wearer to wear prescription spectacles beneath. Other key features of the visor include a dual position locking mechanism, ensuring the visor stays in place when it is either up or down, and will not move or slide accidentally with movement of the head. The visor is also replaceable should it become damaged, scratched or marked over time.
