The mezuzah scroll is written by a rabbi scribe trained in calligraphy, using specific types of ink, high quality parchment, and quills. We have checked the Mezuha twice to ensure that it is 100% kosher, once on a computer scan and once by hand. There is a certificate certifying that. To remind you of God's protection and presence, affixing a mezuzah to every room's entrance is considered a mitzvah (commandment). The mezuzah scroll is 7cm or 2.8 inches in length.
