Ivalo BUGrip is one of the all-time Icebug best-sellers. This version has seen some upgrades but Ivalo is still a convenient and light winter boot with reliable traction. Upper is made of Gold rated (LWG) Suede leather and recycled Ripstop Polyester, very durable and water repellent. New version has 3M reflective areas for increased visibility. Weather resistant 8 mm front zipper, now with a suede zipper puller, makes Ivalo easy to put on and off. The mudguard has a new design and adds protection and durability. ESS stabilizer and lots of forefoot rocker gives stable ride platform for fast and healthy feet. Wide ergonomic last. Outsole with dynamic carbide tip studs gives confidence on ice but walks completely civilized on pavement and other surfaces

Why we made the shoe: We wanted to make an everyday winter shoe that is suitable for all your winter walks that require reliable grip Grip Technology – BUGrip is the name of Icebug’s grip technology for the most slippery conditions. A BUGrip sole is made of a special rubber compound and has 13-19 integrated steel studs. This dynamic function makes the studs adapt to the surface and provide the best possible traction on anything from dry asphalt to pure ice. Comfort Technology – Lined with super soft 100% recycled bluesign Fleece with a OrthoLite Hybrid lined Insole provides you with a comfort that has no compare. The lightweight EVA BLOOM Foam makes the Ivalo3 a true light winter boot. Durability Technology – Upper made with Bluesign RipStop textile, 100% recycled and GRS certified PET polyester textile and Protective PU mudguard. A versatile material using a reinforcing technique that makes Ivalo3 BUGrip winter walking boot more resistant to tearing and ripping. Sustainability is the most important thing we do – The BUGrip outsole contains 20% recycled rubber. Midsole EVA contains 20% BLOOM foam, which is made from algae from overgrown lakes. The Milspeed inner heel and toe reinforcements are made of 60% recycled plastic, out of which 11-12% are recycled nylon fishing nets.
