First launched in 1690 after a significant building period, the San Felipe was the lead ship of the Spanish war effort during this time. With over 1,000 tons and with close to 100 cannons (96 in total), this warship gained respect all across the world. Indeed, it was feared very much by the British and French navies – the major competition for the Spanish. Dimensions of the San Felipe model ships: 37.4"L x 11"W x 30.7"H 1:75 Scale. The model ship decor is entirely handcrafted, fully assembled and ready to put on display (not a kit). Great nautical gift collection and house decoration. Designed using real plans of the San Felipe ship, ensuring the model ship is accurate & using top quality timber and metals: no plastic used. All decorative details of the ship replica – cannons, anchors and decorative linings are metal-sculpted for the best look. Deck features help to add attention to detail with realistic extras such as lifeboats and steering wheel are included. All sails are made using impressive fine linen and rigging lines of various formats. Designed to handle changes in the climate and temperature, helping to improve lifespan. Solid wooden base with name plate included & laminated ship history sheet include for educational purposes. Secure packaging for global delivery: the model ship is titled up in a secure wooden crate with a large and customised PVC foam solution. It is also placed in a secure carton box to help keep it safe from any kind of environmental damage during transit.
