Shoe Fit Scale: Grade 5. inov-8 shoes are designed with Met-Cradle technology to lock down the mid-foot for a stable hold. ~Graded on a scale of 1-5, Grade 1 represents the closest, most precise fit. Grade 5 has the widest fitting toe box.~ Midsole Stack: 11mm / 7mm. Drop: 4mm. Minimally-constructed textile and synthetic upper with protective overlays and elastic mesh liners for breathable comfort. MET-CRADLE technology is built into the laces for a snug, secure, adjustable fit. Lace-up closure. Protective rubber toe cap. Padded tongue and collar. Breathable mesh lining offers a great in-shoe feel. Removable 6 mm footbed. POWERFLOW+ midsole delivers 10% shock absorption and 25% better energy return than standard midsoles. 360 ROPE-TEC system wraps around to the upper for maximum grip during rope climbs. Sticky rubber compound strategically-placed in high-impact areas of the outsole delivers secure foot placement. META-FLEX outsole grooves create a natural flexion point at the forefoot for more natural, efficient movement. DFB (Dynamic Fascia Band) shank mimics the Windlass Effect to deliver a jolt of energy with each stride.
