This remote control is a replacement part specifically for our X1S remote control set (remote + hub). If your original remote has been chewed by your dog or the screen is shattered, this replacement remote is the perfect solution. When you receive your new remote, pair it with your original hub by going to our app, selecting "Me" -> "Settings" -> "Pair with a New Remote".
