- Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 Cotton Blend Batting is one of the most popular quilt battings used by quilters who want the softness of cotton with the added strength and loft of polyester. This premium batting is made with 80% unbleached cotton and 20% polyester to create a durable yet lightweight quilt batting that performs beautifully in both hand quilting and machine quilting applications. The blend provides excellent stitch definition while maintaining a soft drape and comfortable finished quilt. The queen size precut measures 90 inches by 108 inches, making it ideal for queen bed quilts, heirloom quilting projects, and large quilt tops. Hobbs Heirloom batting is lightly needle-punched and resin bonded to help keep the fibers evenly distributed, preventing bunching and shifting during quilting. The batting produces minimal lint while stitching and provides a smooth quilting experience.
