Released in 2009, we created the first production pocket clip made from high quality stainless spring steel to ensure long life and consistent flex regardless of material thickness. In fact, we coined the name "Suspension Clip". Don't settle for cheap knock-offs that are made from inferior steel that remain bent open when used the first time. Our material, finish, and support are second to none. The P-7 Suspension Clip is THE answer to the common problem of large keyring items sitting at the bottom of your pants pockets...also known as "key fob bulge". It's not just key fobs, it's any of those other necessary items you need for Every Day Carry. Small flashlights, pocket knives, thumbdrives, they all add up to make a nice big lump at the bottom of your pockets. Not only does it look strange, but it also wears out the material around the bulge adding to the problem. Enter the P-7. It clips onto the top edge of your pocket, allowing anything clipped to it to be suspended part way into your pocket. So you can put large items like your key fob onto the P-7 and keep them separate from the rest of the items at the bottom of your pocket. No need to pull the fob out of your pocket, just let it hang there! And the clip is very discrete, only the outer fold of the clip is visible so it's barely noticeable. The P-7 Suspension Clip is made of spring tempered stainless steel, bead blasted to a uniform matte finish. It also includes a stainless steel split ring and gate clip to allow for attachment of items. The P-7 clip, as well as many other TEC Accessories products, is now offered in our Black Diamond Carbon nano-coating. This beautiful, black finish is incredibly low friction, scratch-proof, corrosion resistant, and is hard as a diamond.
