Clear, calm voice prompts guide students through proper usage while a chest compression metronome (which is able to be turned off) encourages students to compress at the ECC recommended rate. And just like with most modern field defibrillators, once assembled, the pads stay pre-connected to the unit. This gives your students a good feel for what it's like using an actual defibrillator.
