- Pull up to any beach or sandbar, step off the boat, press the spike into the sand, and the bungee cord does the rest. No mallet, no drill, no screwing anything into the ground. The tapered blade penetrates soft sand with hand pressure alone. The included bungee cord then hammers the spike deeper with each wave or boat pull, locking it in place without needing to reset. When the day is done, pull it straight out and store it. Blade and shaft are hot-dipped galvanized steel for long-term corrosion resistance in salt and freshwater. The rubber grip handle stays secure in wet hands. A wide steel tie-down loop at the base accepts any dock line, rope, or tether for securing a pontoon, bass boat, kayak, canoe, or multiple small watercraft to a single spike. The reinforced storage bag is included to contain wet sand on removal and keep the deck clean after use. Works equally well as a surf fishing sand spike for rod holders, a shore anchor at a lake launch, or a beach stake wherever sand can hold a post. Available in two sizes. The 22 ft version has an orange rubber handle and 40 inches total length, built for boats, kayaks, and canoes up to 22 ft. The 30 ft version has a lime green handle and 51 inches total length for larger boats, pontoons, and bass boats up to 30 ft.
