- The H.M.H.S. Britannic model is a unique opportunity to travel back in time and experience history first-hand. The sister ship of the Titanic, initially designed as a luxury ocean liner, the Britannic was converted into a hospital ship during World War I. During service, on November 21, 1916, the Britannic sank after hitting a mine, but thanks to a quick evacuation, most of the crew and passengers were saved. This model pays tribute to this legendary ship, which measured 269.06 meters long and 29 meters wide, and its deck hosted wounded soldiers and medical personnel. Built from 636 COBI construction blocks the H.M.H.S. Britannic is 38.5cm long and 12cm high in a scale of 1:700. It precisely reproduces the shape and body of the ship and numerous details, such as movable cranes, screws and rudders, which ensure authenticity and the possibility of a fun play experience. The set also includes an elegant display stand with a plaque, making it an ideal element for display in any room of the house. Building the model is pure pleasure thanks to the intuitive instructions based on simple icons and illustrations. The model does not require gluing or painting and all inscriptions and graphics are permanently printed on the blocks, which ensures longevity and resistance to intense play.
