Other enabled apps include YouTube, as well as apps for sport channels, podcasts, games, and news. The device requires a Wi-Fi network harnessing 802.11ac to connect with your Wi-Fi enabled device. Chromecast supports all sorts of devices, from mobile phones, to tablets, to laptops, that run on Android 4.2, iOS 9.1, Mac OS X 10.9, and Windows 7 operating systems or later versions
