- SynShield Classic Performance Synthetic Plus 5W-30 protects gasoline-fueled automotive and light-duty trucks operating in all driving conditions. This oil may also be used on engines that are turbocharged and/or supercharged. It’s ideal for engines that need reliable performance but do not require a full synthetic oil. SynShield Classic Performance Synthetic Plus 5W-30 is a multi-grade gasoline oil engineered with the finest quality of select synthetic plus base oils, an advanced additive package and a highly shear stable viscosity index improver. Using proprietary friction modifiers, Micron Moly and Penetro, SynShield Classic Performance Synthetic Plus 5W-30 quickly plates to metal surfaces, creating a slippery, tenacious shield that prevents metal-to-metal contact. By reducing friction and wear, SynShield Classic Performance Synthetic Plus 5W-30 protects critical engine parts, thereby increasing engine efficiency, engine life and fuel economy. SynShield Classic Performance Synthetic Plus is also available in 10W-30.
